IÂ believed that my body was the problem. I couldn't stick to anything, I had poor self-control, and everything I wanted would remain out of reach.
That was all wrong.
I was just fine. I lacked clarity, good information, and the right practices.
My name is Rebecca Thomas.Â
Fifteen years ago, I lost 55 pounds because I abandoned diets.
This allowed me to finally see that food suppression schemes were never going to be the answer, and to begin exploring what could last a lifetime. The process I developed and now teach has transformed my wellbeing, happiness, and body.
Apply NowI didn't restrict my food, quit carbs, or work out like a maniac. I actively turned away from diet culture to try and understand weight holistically.
I didnât go hungry. I never logged a thing I ate into an app or spreadsheet (kill me first). I didnât cut out carbs or only eat in six-hour windows. There were no arduous workouts. It turned out this was nonsense all along.
I felt like Iâd found a secret door to escape the pain of the last twenty years (and largely still feel this way). Everything I was doing was enjoyable, sustainable for the day-to-day, and producing results.
I knew Iâd succeeded when new diets (pills, apps, whatever) held absolutely no interest because they didnât apply to me anymore. All that media just floated by. I understood how to care for myself to produce a stable, healthy weight, and (unlike dieting) I liked the process.
I spent the next decade living with these changes, understanding why they worked so well, and sharing what I'd learned.
In 2021 I launched this program to help others find the same success and live in peace with their bodies.Â
