I Want To Get Healthy. Where do I Start?
If the first steps to improving your health (or losing weight) feel murky, this one's for you.
Almost eighteen years ago, I quit dieting for good. When you don't have meal plans, apps, or calorie restriction to rely on for quick results, it requires a deeper focus.
Step one? Observe my regular diet. I was looking for eating patterns rather than ways to restrict intake.
➡️ Tip: Actively decide to skip judgments about past failures or stories about how change isn't possible. These are unnecessary weights that hurt any progress.
The point is to be a detective in your own life. To actively employ curiosity and ditch recrimination. It's useless anyway.
You can find success with the body you have and the life you're in. In fact, you have to because it's what you've got.
You don't need another diet; you need a new lens.
This Saturday at 12pm EST, I'm hosting my first 'It's The Food' workshop inside the newsletter community.
I designed this workshop to help you make an accurate analysis of what you're eating, so you can avoid food products that cause metabolic disruption.
Bring one or two food products to share. It could be:
A salad dressing
Vegan cheese or meats
Ready-made meal
Pancake mix
Condiments
Your favorite yogurt
I'll bring some items too. It'll be fun, illuminating, and I'll suggest alternatives if your product is overprocessed.
